"You were always whole, even if they tried to tell you otherwise - and in your darkest moments, when you knew only doubt" an artwork, refelcting on our similarities with the moon (I'm obsessed!), our ebb and flow on this journey we call life - growth, rest, loss, and the misconceptions around perception... the moon is still whole when we look up and only see a crescent. 
 
Made by handpainting the cyanotype sensitiser with brush and quil onto thick khadi paper - leaving it to dry, and then exposing it under UV light with carefully placed dried flowers and seeds... the result, is, if I may say so, STUNNING.
 
Made using the cyanotype/blueprint process, each artwork is unique, even when the materials and shadows are the same, each time it is assembled, exposed and processed produces a different result! Which is very exciting if you ask me.
